Mumbai Samachar’s Ganeshotsav Contest Begins; Win Exciting Prizes
On the auspicious occasion of Ganeshotsav, Asia’s oldest newspaper, Mumbai Samachar, has organised the ‘Mumbai Samachar Maha Ganeshotsav’ competition to promote devotion and creativity. Through this unique competition, Ganesh devotees can send a video of their Ganpati idol and beautifully decorated home pandal to participate in the ‘Showstopper Bappa’ competition and win attractive prizes.
Mumbai Samachar will showcase the creativity and devotion of participants to millions of readers and viewers through its digital and print platforms. Every participant who enters the competition will also receive a special gift from Bappa.

Guidelines to send photos and videos:
Video duration: The video should be at least 30 seconds and a maximum of 1 to 2 minutes long.
Shooting mode: The video must be shot vertically on a mobile phone. Horizontal videos will not be accepted.
How to submit: Photos and videos must be sent through the registered WhatsApp number or email.
Details required with the entry:
Name of the decoration theme
Whether the decoration is eco-friendly (Yes/No)
Whether the Ganesh idol is eco-friendly (Yes/No)
Participant’s full name, mobile number and address
Selection process:
The winners will be selected impartially by a panel of five expert judges based on different criteria. The decision of the jury will be final and binding.
There will be no public voting to select the winners. The competition will be limited to Mumbai and Thane.
